My opinion on install is to mate the engine and Trans together before installing. It works for me on my manual Trans with gt30 turbos and downpipes installed. No busted knuckles or anything. The car just needs to be jacked up a couple feet and the cross member dropped a couple inches. I didn't undo my steering u joint just to give an idea of how little it needs to go down. I don't know how this will work with a auto Trans since they are a bit bigger and bulkier but worth a try IMHO.
